Donating To Our Shops

We run three shops at the moment, which are located in Croydon, Crystal Palace and Caterham. You can find details of the shop addresses and opening times here.

We are always thrilled when we receive saleable items and have been given some absolute gems down the years, for which we whole-heartedly thank you.

Please continue to donate quality items to our shops as they are vital to create funds for our animal welfare work throughout South London.

We do however have another plea. Firstly we would be very grateful if you would only donate items during our opening hours. Items left outside can cause a public nuisance and of course can easily get wet or stolen. We would far rather you popped in to say hello during our opening hours for a chat and a thank you from us.

Additionally, please consider whether the items that you are donating are really in a saleable condition, and if not please consider recycling instead, or taking them to your local tip if they are well past their best.

Below are some items that were recently left outside one of our shops. We do not need to comment on them but suffice to say that it cost us money to dispose of them and were very unpleasant for us to have to handle.

Thankfully, such unsuitable items are far outweighed by quality goods. We would especially welcome quality items of clothing, accessories, footwear, homeware, jewellery, giftware, unopened boxed cosmetics, books, complete board games & toys. Electrical items that are in a good condition are also very welcome.

If items can be donated in strong bags we would love you even more! If donated in their original packaging and with any instruction booklets too would make you royalty for the day!

Unfortunately we cannot accept children’s cots, mattresses or beds, child care safety seats of any kind including car seats, motor cycle helmets, riding hats, cycle helmets, child safety harnesses, prams, pushchairs or playpens.
