Our Fundraisers

There are no end of ways to raise money for us and we are so very grateful to everybody that has raised or donated money in the past.

You could try something physical such as a run or long-distance walk, arrange a tea party, sell some unwanted bric-a-brac in a garage sale or even a sponsored silence!

Perhaps you could get together with friends or colleagues to make your fundraising event a truly memorable social event?

Whatever your ideas, we’d love to hear about your efforts and can publicise your event or mission beforehand on this website, as well as featuring the fundraise itself once it has been completed.

Karen

Karen Brodie and her twin sister partnered up with jack russell Lilly, and took part in a dog jog.

Fundraising for RSPCA South London

They all jogged 5 KM around the Shirley Hills and managed to raise £331 for the RSPCA in South London in the process.

Karen set up a Just Giving campaign to raise money, as well as receiving cash donations, and reports that it was easy to set up and the jog was a lot of fun too! Well done to you all and many many thanks for your efforts.

See the official Dog Jog website for your own inspiration.

Jens

Student Jens Wagstaff volunteered to work with us as part of his Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Silver Award and also took the time to raise an incredible £542 for the branch through running a quiz for family and friends. Jens also used Just Giving to collect the money raised. Many thanks to Jens and everybody who contributed.

He was ably assisted by the family dog Buster who acted as the inspiration for Jens’ efforts.

Jens & Buster

Very well done Jens and we hope you were successful in attaining such a prestigious award.

Charlie

One of our supporters named Charlie got physical to help us and raised a fantastic £1022.50 thanks to the generosity of family & friends.

Charlie, decided she would help our branch by doing a sponsored event, with friends and family donating through our Just Giving page. This is a great way to raise funds for us and we really appreciate all the effort people go to.

Charlie set herself the unbelievable challenge of 26 sets of 26 burpees. That’s an eye-watering, muscle-straining 676 burpees! The challenge was completed in the blistering heat just to add to the challenge.

These shoes were made for Burpees!

Thank you Charlie, you are a real star!
