How You Can Help……..

We could not exist to provide vital care for animals if it were not for our wonderful volunteers and donors.

Every year thousands of animals suffer from neglect, cruelty and abuse. Together we can help end their misery.

There are lots of ways that you can help us to be there as the emergency service for animals.

Whether you want to give a simple donation or be a bit more hands on we’re truly grateful. Take a look around to see how you can help us make a difference to animals lives.

Our Events

We are always on the look out for volunteers to help us at our events (see our events page for past & future events).

We are delighted to be the Charity of the Year at Pets at Home in Wimbledon and will be holding events there throughout 2022. If you live near the store we would love to have you along to help – you can email us at office@rspcasouthlondon.org.uk if you would like to assist.

We are also always ready to listen to creative ways that we can raise funds and would love to hear your ideas – again you can email us at office@rspcasouthlondon.org.uk.

Recent events include, an Easter treasure hunt at Pets at Home in Wimbledon, a dog walk/ranger talk on Farthing Downs in Coulsdon, and stands at Tooting Common Dog Show & Croydon Pride and many more.

Commercial Sponsorship

If you are a business and would like to work with us as part of your Corporate Responsibility goals, please email us at office@rspcasouthlondon.org.uk.

There are loads of ways that you could work with us such as through payroll giving, by advertising on our site, becoming a Sponsor/Friend of RSPCA South London, or encouraging your staff to hold a fund-raising event on our behalf. We would be very happy to consider anything that you might suggest.

Monetary Donations

It costs our branch £6 a day to board just one cat and the average vet bill for a rescued animal is £220. At any one time our branch could be caring for up to 30 different cats and kittens.

As well as paying for their boarding and food, these cats will also need regular veterinary treatment which can cost us several thousands of pounds per month.

In addition to the animals in our care, we also help members of the public who are on benefits or have a low income and who suddenly face emergency vet costs for their pets.

Donating to our branch means your money will go towards helping the most vulnerable animals in the local area.
