May 2023 ‘Pet of the Month’ – Zammy the Cat

This months’ special pet has been sent to us by Ruby Lyall. Zammy lives with Ruby and her mum Nancy.

RSPCA South London cat

“Sammy or Zammy is of mysterious age (between 5-9 years) and is a rescue found injured near the motorway in London.

The RSPCA formally named him King Samson and was originally brought back to the shelter twice (both within 24 hours) before we adopted him forever in 2018.

He is now a very affectionate and curious cat who has grown so much since he first came home with us, when he was incredibly anxious.

He is very friendly and sweet with our neighbours kittens who like to come into our garden and house unannounced – a real gentle giant.

We are so proud of our Zammy and love him to bits.”

If you would like your furry/feathery/scaley friend to feature as a future pet of the month, just email some words and pictures to enquiries@rspcasouthlondon.org.uk

As you can see below, Zammy loves to pose and get involved with all aspects of family life.
