Nobody could abandon a cat when they move home surely? Unfortunately it does happen and this is precisely what occurred when the owners of Dolores left their home.
We do not know why this happened but for Dolores there has been a very happy outcome – new loving owners, a new forever home and even a new name.
Clare Finnett and her husband Mark were on the look out for a cat to live with them and their pet dog Roo, so came to us to see whether we had a cat looking for a new home. I will let Clare take up the story……
“We couldn’t have asked for a better matched cat. She is friendly, affectionate and not too perturbed by our bouncy lab.

We feel blessed to have been able to give her a forever home. Right from the start the RSPCA was quick to respond and gave us all the information we could have wished for. There have been no surprises. They took care of the necessary vaccinations, neutering and treatments. All we needed to do was love her, which we do.
We would recommend anyone to use the RSPCA to find their rescue pet”
Oh, and yes, I mentioned Dolores has a new name. Clare and Mark decided to call her Townes. All part of a brand new start for a lovely cat.
