Amazon Smile – Giving to RSPCA South London – RSPCA South London

If you are like me you will be a regular purchaser on Amazon.

I have lost count of the times that I have decided I might need something and without thinking about it searched on Amazon, to then find myself purchasing the item straight away for next day delivery.

Sound familiar?

Amazon will donate 0.5% of any eligible purchase to the charity of your choice, and RSPCA South London are one of the charities that you could select as your beneficiary charity. Fifty pence for every £100 spent may not sound much, but it all adds up.

Does every purchase on Amazon qualify?

There are some exceptions, but the most important thing is that you have to shop through Amazon Smile to earn money for your charity. If you shop at Amazon.co.uk your purchases will not qualify.

One of our supporters called Marilyn passed on a handy tip to make sure that you always shop at Smile. You can download a neat tool into your Chrome browser that will automatically redirect you to Smile if you shop at Amazon.

It is simple and free to download and you will find out how to do it here.

Just visit the Smile site here, log into your Amazon account and then it will take you to a screen that looks like the below to choose your charity.

You then just type in RSPCA South London into the search window and click on search, which will take you to a screen like below.

You then just click on the select button and you are done.

Download or update to the latest version of the Amazon Shopping App for iOS or Android
Open the app and find “AmazonSmile” in the main menu (☰) under “Programmes and Features”
Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your charity and turn on AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping App
Start generating donations while you shop eligible items in the app!
