RSPCA inspector Harriet recently picked up a stray cat from South London.
A lovely couple had been looking out for him and had seen his eyes declining and looking red and sore so gave us a call.

They managed to tempt him inside the house to confine him and following a short game of hide and seek around the living room Harriet managed to catch Alfie, as he has become known.
He was taken off for treatment at an Animal Hospital in North London where he is being checked out for any potential heart problems, whilst his ulcerated eyes are also being treated.
Once Alfie has been given the all clear he will be available for rehoming. This could be several weeks away.

If you see an animal in distress or in need of help in the South London area, please see our contact page for details of how to get in touch.
