We are looking for a new trustee with retail experience to join our fantastic Board of Trustees. This is a voluntary role with the opportunity to make a real difference to both the local community and animal welfare.

- To assist the Branch Manager in maximising the profitability of the Branch’s 3 charity shops.
- To work with the Branch Manager to explore any potential for expanding the retail operation by researching potential for further charity shops.
- To support the Branch Manager in establishing the Branch’s e-commerce operation via online sales platforms such as eBay.
- To work with other trustees, the Branch health and safety provider and the Branch Manager to ensure the charity shops meet health and safety standards.
- To explore other ways to generate income for the Branch and working closely with the Branch Manager to put these ideas into action.
You would also be a key member of our management board/committee, with the ability to influence our animal welfare strategy and fundraising activities.
The role will be home based, though visits to the shops on occasions will be desirable. We have three excellent shops in Caterham, Croydon & Crystal Palace, details of which you can find HERE.
