We have some specialist volunteer vacancies at the moment and would be delighted to hear from you if you fit the bill and can spare an hour or so a week.
Media & Marketing Specialist
We could do with a hand with our media & marketing. We run this website, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram and have just launched a quarterly newsletter.
Whilst we are fairly happy content wise, we could do with some assistance in getting our message out there into the wide word (or at least South London). That’s not to say that we would say no to somebody that could embellish our output and suggest other media channels.
The volunteer would work with our trustees to help shape our media/public relations strategy and implement ideas to improve our search engine optimisation, and most importantly enable us to reach more supporters, donors, volunteers and people to attend our events.
Events Organiser & Fundraiser
As a board of trustees we are always trying to think up great ideas for fundraising and do not do too badly when it comes to putting on events.
However, we are not experts and could do with some assistance from somebody with event management experience. The volunteer would help to set our events strategy, as well as suggesting ideas on how to run these successfully.
This is very much a blank piece of paper and will include events throughout South London, as well as utilising our Croydon & Crystal Palace shops as possible event venues and fundraising channels too.
We would also be extremely happy if you could help us to run one or more of the events yourself.
Finally, we would also like to leverage the business/corporate community in our large area, with things like collaborations and sponsorship.
