We are recruiting – could you be our new Animal Welfare Officer?

We are really excited to be recruiting an animal welfare officer (AWO) for the South London area.

Do you consider yourself a strong advocate for animal welfare? Are you an experienced animal handler, an independent worker with a clean driving licence? RSPCA South London needs you!

Our recently expanded South London Branch is looking for an AWO. This is a new role so we are looking for someone with bags of energy, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to dive straight in. We will work with you to develop this role but we are looking for someone with lots of ideas as to how we could best serve our local community, and most importantly, its animals!

She or he will also be involved in our fundraising events and assist in the smooth running of our Branch.

We will pay a salary of £21,000+ and provide a vehicle & all equipment needed to undertake the role. You would be home based and should live in the South London area and be able to park the vehicle safely overnight.
