Its Hot – Look Out for the Wildlife in Your Garden

There is loads of advice around on how to keep your hot dog cool and cat off a hot tin roof, but how about your wild visitors?

With the mercury set to hit 40 degrees today and tomorrow, birds, foxes and even insects need our help.

You should place bowls of water in shady spots around your garden. These provide excellent bathing facilities for your furry and feathered visitors, and a vital source of drinking water too.

You can also make bird baths and bowls bee & butterfly friendly by adding stones to them so they can also have a safe drink.
