Helping directly where it’s needed!

We run a ‘Help with Vet Bills‘ scheme to help residents in our branch area who are struggling with their finances and have vet bills they cannot afford to pay. You do not need to be on benefits to be eligible.  We know being in work and having regular income does not mean you won’t be suddenly faced with an unexpected vet bill for your pet.

We were recently contacted by a single mum who had taken on a rescue dog who was in a bad way. She had paid out a lot for vet bills already to get her back up to full health and was struggling to get the money together to get her neutered. Neutering is very important, not only to prevent unwanted litters, but also for the general health of the animal. The owner had saved up an amount and we agreed to pay the rest at one of the private vets we work with.
