To celebrate the start of the Great British Spring Clean #BigBagChallenge 2024. Join us on Saturday 16th March on Mitcham Common, at 10.30 as we collaborate with Friends of Mitcham Common for a litter-pick of Mitcham Common.
Many of volunteers regularly find ‘retro rubbish’ that was dropped many years ago but is still causing harm to our environment and wildlife today, releasing greenhouse gases as it slowly breaks down in our soil and water, which contributes to the climate crisis
Everything you may need for a successful pick is provided, so all you need to do is show up! It’s a great social event too.
