World Book Day is scheduled for 6th March, exactly one month from today. This is a day arranged by the publishing world to promote the wonderful joy and imagination books can give to children.

So what has the day got to do with us? Well, quite a lot actually…….

Firstly, we have published our own children’s novel entriguingly entitled ‘The Life & Times of Mr Bartholomew Bucket’.

Set in the late ’60s East London and a fabulous farm in Suffolk, the story centres on a bright red bucket with senses and subliminal powers who transforms the lives of three families so much for the better.

This fictional book will delight children and the young at heart as it focuses on family values, overcoming hardships, loving relationships and what life was like in Britain nearly sixty years ago when many people did not own a television, telephone, washing machine or even a fridge.

To celebrate the lead up to World Book Day, the good people from Amazon have discounted both the paperback and ebook.

The paperback is priced at £10 (down from £15), and the ebook is down to £2.99 from £4.69. You can buy your copy of either by clicking BOOK.

Not only will you be purchasing a lovely book to read, but you will also be raising money for a wonderful cause – animal welfare in South London.
