We want to thank you for all your support for our recent Roxy appeal and provide an update.
We needed urgent funds after a rather hefty veterinary. Roxy, one of our rescue cats, had a traumatic labour, where only four of her kittens survived. The bill presented was almost £2k, with an estimate of £6k needed in total for them and Roxy’s family with boarding, vaccinations, flea and worming treatment, neutering, microchipping, and eventually new homes.
This is a huge drain on the RSPCA South London funds. However we received £3,371.73 in total from the appeal for their care. We are so grateful.
Roxy and her kittens – now 4 weeks old and named:
Rufus – ginger and white male
Rudy – tabby and white male
Ruby – tabby female
Ronan – black male
As you can see from the pictures, the kittens are starting to explore and really show their own personalities!
