The Challenge: Create Your Own Costume
We’re challenging young trick-or-treaters to get creative and craft their Halloween costumes using items from our charity shops. Whether you’re dreaming of becoming a vampire, a witch, a superhero, or something completely bonkers – we’ve got racks full of treasures waiting to be transformed into something magical.
Come join us in our Croydon or Tooting shop and join in the fun!
Here’s how it works:
Browse our shops for costume inspiration (we’ve got everything from vintage jackets to sparkly accessories, mysterious hats to flowing scarves). Then, come back and show us your incredible creations!

Get a photo taken to capture the moment
Receive a sweet treat because all that creativity deserves a reward!
Not only are we excited about Halloween, and happy to encourage reusing and upcycling, but it also shows just how creative you can be without spending a fortune. Plus, every pound spent in our shops goes toward supporting our vital work in the community.

- Think outside the box: That old curtain could be a wizard’s cloak, or a cape for a mysterious detective
- Layer up: Combine unexpected pieces for truly unique looks
- Accessorise: Sometimes all you need is the right hat, a pair of gloves, or some funky jewellery

Join the Fun
