Adoptober: Meet Bane

It’s Adoptober! It’s the month of October where we shine a light on the local animals in our South London area that are in need of a new home!

Meet our handsome Bane, who is a 12-year-old long-haired male in need of a patient and loving home. This sensitive lovely soul will hide when approached by people he doesn’t know, but once he gets to know you, he is very friendly.  Bane was sadly signed over to us at RSPCA South London and our inspectorate team by his loving owner when she could no longer care for him.

Could you give Bane a new home?

We are seeking a quieter household where he can feel secure and develop strong bonds with multiple people. He may be okay living with another calm cat, and if there are children, they should be older and respectful of boundaries.  Bane is a confident eater and will scoff everything in one go, so it should be quick to make friends with him.

He is already neutered and is currently waiting to be fully vaccinated and microchipped. Bane should be ready to go to his new home from mid-November.

We have an unprecedented rehoming crisis as several large-scale cruelty and neglect cases have led to record numbers of dogs and cats in national RSPCA care. Our national centres are full of hundreds of cats rescued from cruelty and neglect who desperately need homes, so we need the you to take action to change lives by contacting us today to explore adoption.

If you are interested in adopting Bane, please contact us at enquiries@rspcasouthlondon.org.uk and find out more. Please look at our other pets available too.
