Our Help With Vet Bills scheme exists to support pet owners during difficult times, especially when unexpected veterinary costs arise. One recent case was Finn, a ten-year-old bearded dragon whose owner came to us after struggling to find out what was making him unwell! Finn had already been to the vet several times.
However, just as the veterinary team recommended further diagnostic tests, including radiographs and a blood test, his owner ran out of funds.
Finn was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. He needed urgent care! Understandably worried his owner reached out to us for help.
We could see that Finn’s owner was doing everything he could to get the right care, so we stepped
in to cover the cost of five-week course of antibiotics and follow up tests. We’re pleased to report that he has completed his treatment and is feeling much better.
We are really happy to have played a small part in Finn’s recovery. This case is a good example of
how our financial support schemes can help keep much-loved pets healthy and in their homes, even
when times are tough!
